Alessandro Paolelli

Born in Civita Castellana in 1976 he studied in Rome, graduating in Industrial Design at the Sapienza University of Rome. After having completed a training period in some design studios. In 2005 he began working as a freelancer where he collaborated with companies in the Colamedici group: COLAVENE, COLACRIL, AXA, KERASAN. Within the group, as well as dealing with the technical area, he carries out important projects.

Carlo Urbinati

Born in Rome in 1949, he attended the Faculty of Architecture working simultaneously in the furnishing sector and supplemented his preparation following a course in Furniture and Scenography. In 1972 he began working as a product designer working with Italian companies in the furniture, upholstery, lighting, bathroom and kitchen sectors. He deepens the study of plastic materials and extends his range of work by collaborating with industries from various countries: Austria, Japan, Australia and Spain. In the furnishing sector his projects are carried out for homes, hotels, restaurants, shops and countless exhibition stands. In 1995 he received the “GRANDESIGN” award for the “Maurea” tub produced by Jacuzzi Europe. Lives and works in Rome where he taught design for a few years at the European Institute of Design and the Quasar Institute. He was president of the “IN SHAPE ACTION” design association.

Claudio Papa

Born in Catania on 5 May 1964, he graduated in Industrial Design at the IS.S.I. of Rome in 1990. He then worked as a Designer also for important Italian companies including the Piaggio Style Center European vehicles. From 2003 to 2007 he held design lessons in Italy and abroad. The curiosity for innovation and the interest in the spaces of our daily life are the push in his search for new interpretations of the products. He currently works with several Italian companies ranging in various operating sectors: bathroom furniture, lighting, furniture, appliances, objects and garden furniture.

Marc Sadler

French born in Austria, Marc Sadler has lived and worked as a designer in France, the United States, Asia and Italy. One of the first graduates in “esthétique industrielle” at the ENSAD in Paris with a thesis on plastics, he was a pioneer in the experimentation of materials and contamination between technologies, which have become distinctive aspects of his activity. At the beginning of the 1970s he developed the first ski boot in fully recyclable thermoplastic material, then industrialized by the Italian Caber. Today, thanks to his eclecticism, he is a cross consultant for companies in every industry sector. Four times winner of the Compasso d’Oro ADI, the Industrial Design Association (1994, 2001, 2008 and 2014) his work has been awarded many times at international level over the years.

Studio Triplan

Alexander Duringer was born in 1964 in Uruguay, but from 1969 he moved to Cologne (Germany) where he completed his studies and began an intense activity in the field of communication for important international brands. Curiosity for the new and the desire to experiment make his love for design grow in him. In 1999, his love life led him to settle in Italy, in Rome, where he lives permanently with his family. Stefano Rosini, born in 1967, lives with his family in the Capital, where he carries out his studies graduating in Architecture at the University of Rome La Sapienza. After having captured the secrets of the greats in many important architectural firms in Rome, in 1997 they began working as a freelancer carrying out their activities in the field of renovations and constructions for private individuals, and creating numerous shops in the capital, with ever increasing attention for the world of design. The Triplan is born from the combination of their different experiences. The “three worktops”, which give rise to the name of the studio, are architecture, design and communication.
